LineCheckerPro LLC ("LineCheckerPro," "we," "us," or "our") operates the LineCheckerPro application at linecheckerpro.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We do not sell your personal data. We do not serve advertisements.

Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account Information: Name, email address, company name, and password (stored as a one-way bcrypt hash).
• Uploaded Documents: PDF estimate files you upload to the Service for processing.
• Generated Reports: Line-check reports, invoices, and output data generated from your uploaded documents.
• Payment Information: Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. LineCheckerPro does not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment details. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status for account management.
• Session & Login Data: An encrypted session token stored as a cookie to maintain your authenticated session.
• Security Logging: IP address, browser/device information (user agent), timestamps of login attempts, and agreement acceptance records for security and legal compliance.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the LineCheckerPro Service.
• To parse and analyze your uploaded estimate PDFs and generate line-check reports.
• To send transactional emails (reports, invoices) via Resend on your behalf.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To enforce account security, single-session login, and access controls.
• To maintain permanent records of Terms of Service and Beta Agreement acceptance for legal compliance.
• To communicate service updates, security notices, and account-related information.

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
• We do not share your data with third parties except Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (transactional email delivery).
• We do not use your uploaded documents or generated reports to train machine learning models.
• We do not display advertisements or share data with advertising platforms.
• We do not access your uploaded documents except as required to provide the Service.

Data Retention

Uploaded PDF estimates are stored on secure servers for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual estimates at any time from within the application.

Agreement acceptance records (your name, email, IP address, timestamp, and agreement version) are retained permanently and cannot be deleted. This is required for legal compliance.

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Upon account deletion, your personal information, estimates, and generated reports are permanently removed. Agreement acceptance records are retained as noted above.

Inactive accounts: Accounts with no activity for 24 consecutive months may be subject to deletion after advance notice.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may update your account information at any time from your profile settings.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your profile. Note: agreement acceptance records are retained as required by law.
• Portability: You may export your estimate data from within the application at any time.

Cookies & Tracking

LineCheckerPro uses a single session cookie for authentication purposes only. This cookie is required for the Service to function and is set only when you log in.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing, encrypted session tokens, single-session enforcement (each login terminates all other active sessions), and HTTPS-only access.

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable security practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate LineCheckerPro:

• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Resend — Transactional email delivery. Resend Privacy Policy
• Railway — Cloud hosting and infrastructure. Railway Privacy Policy

These services are bound by their own privacy policies and we share only the minimum necessary data with each.
